User Experience Program Supplement

Effective Date: May 21, 2026

Supplement Notice: This statement supplements the Smart Bay General Privacy Policy. It applies specifically to the processing of diagnostic, performance, and usage telemetry data collected from users who voluntarily choose to participate in our User Experience Program ("Program") on FlowOS devices or related ecosystem applications.

At Shenzhen Smart Bay Technology Co., Ltd., we continuously strive to optimize our system stability, refine user interfaces, and enhance power management. To achieve this, we allow users to share anonymous software behavior patterns and technical diagnostics. This Program is entirely optional, and data is strictly de-identified before transmission.

1. TELEMETRY AND DIAGNOSTIC PILLARS

If you choose to opt into our Program, we process data based on the following specific technical scenarios:

A. System Health & Technical Diagnostics

Why are we processing this data? To identify system-level hardware bottlenecks, trace runtime crashes, resolve kernel abnormalities, and improve overall FlowOS OS reliability.

What data are we processing? Automated crash dumps, Kernel Panic traces, Application Not Responding (ANR) frequency metrics, system memory utilization states, background thermal threshold fluctuations, and hardware model specifications.

What is the legal basis? Your explicit Consent (via the system opt-in toggle).

B. Power Management & Battery Optimization

Why are we processing this data? To diagnose irregular battery drain, analyze charging cycle degradation, and calibrate our system-level AI power-allocation algorithms.

What data are we processing? Battery discharge rates under specific workloads, core temperature trends during rapid charging sessions, and hardware power rail diagnostics.

What is the legal basis? Your explicit Consent (via the system opt-in toggle).

C. UI/UX Interaction Analytics

Why are we processing this data? To analyze which software layout designs are most intuitive and evaluate feature engagement levels (e.g., whether users prefer launching features via voice or sidebar overlays).

What data are we processing? Aggregated software feature invocation frequencies, navigation paths across settings panels, and completely anonymous UI click map tallies. We do NOT collect user-generated content, input keystrokes, voice audio logs, or screen visual data under this Program.

What is the legal basis? Your explicit Consent (via the system opt-in toggle).

2. ABSOLUTE ANONYMIZATION AND PRIVACY BOUNDARIES

To ensure that your participation never compromises your real-world identity, we implement the following technical barriers:

3. DATA RETENTION & AUTO-PURGING

Diagnostic telemetry carries a short operational utility lifespan. Program packets are maintained on our secure cloud architecture for a maximum duration of 3 months to 6 months from transmission. Once this analytical cycle completes, the log files are permanently deleted or processed through absolute mathematical anonymization pipelines where individual patterns become permanently untraceable.

4. COMPREHENSIVE USER CONTROL (HOW TO OPT OUT)

Your privacy remains fully under your control. You can change your mind and withdraw your participation at any time. When you opt out, your device immediately ceases all Program-related diagnostic transmissions.

To withdraw your consent on FlowOS devices, follow these steps:

  1. Open the main system Settings menu on your device.
  2. Navigate downwards and select the Privacy & Security sub-panel.
  3. Tap on User Experience Program.
  4. Toggle the switch to the OFF position.
